{"id":108856,"date":"2025-01-18T12:54:57","date_gmt":"2025-01-18T12:54:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chasdavis.com\/wordpress\/?p=108856"},"modified":"2025-01-19T13:00:13","modified_gmt":"2025-01-19T13:00:13","slug":"harvey-cooper","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chasdavis.com\/wordpress\/2025\/01\/18\/harvey-cooper\/","title":{"rendered":"Harvey Cooper"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Harvey Cooper, age 91, Floral City, FL passed away January 18, 2025 at The Grove Heath &amp; Rehab Center in Hernando.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr Cooper was born in Ozark, AL on January 8, 1934 to the late Joseph and Mattie Dora Peoples Cooper, one of 9 children, and came to this area in the 50\u2019s from Enterprise, AL.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; He was a barber&nbsp; at the Citrus Plaza Barber Shop in Inverness for many years.&nbsp; Additionally , he was a very talented musician and played in many venues around Citrus and adjoining counties for several years.&nbsp; There was hardly a string instrument he couldn\u2019t play.&nbsp; At one time in his career, he was offered a position in Nashville, TN as a studio and recording musician.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 59 years, Phyllis (Barron) Cooper; &nbsp;2 children, Jeffrey Cooper of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Kimberly Edwards of Lexington, KY.&nbsp;&nbsp; He also leaves many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a few great great.&nbsp; He was preceded in death by 2 of his children, Michael and Harvey Cooper, Jr as well as 5 brothers and 3 sisters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At his request, there are no services scheduled at this time.&nbsp; He is under the care of Chas. E.
