Lois Jean Collins, of Inverness, passed away at her home under Hospice care on Saturday, November 23, 2024. She was 91. Lois was born in Bedford, Ohio to Stanley George and Evelyn (Foster) Yourkievitz. She served as Executive Secretary for the Director of Public Service in Cleveland, OH for many years. Lois enjoyed time spent with family. She moved to Inverness in 1986 from Bedford, OH. Lois was preceded in death by her sisters Nancy Yourkievitz and Patricia White, and brother-in-law Clyde White. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Jeanne Mauk (Jeff) of Inverness; her sons George Merrow (Angi) of Inverness and Michael Craig (Linda) of Sagamore Hills, OH; six grandchildren; Jeremiah, Jonathan, Jessica, Jacob, Nicole, Cody, and 10 great grandchildren. All of her grandchildren were paramount as her caregivers. Private cremation arrangements are under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Cremation Care, Inverness.
