Stephen Teeters

Stephen A. Teeters, of Inverness, died on Monday, November 4, 2024 at HCA Florida Citrus Hospital. He was 87. Stephen was born in Inverness to Aubrey and Mary (Hayes) Teeters. He operated his own business called Carpet Cleaning by Stephen for many years. Stephen loved to travel the country, especially to Arizona, and his daughter Victoria would often go with him. They even lived in Arizona and Texas for a period of time. Stephen was very active in church, and he served as a deacon at the Wahoo Baptist Church in Bushnell, as well as served as treasurer on the board with Floral City Baptist Church. Stephen was preceded in death by all four of his siblings: Carroll and Claude Teeters, Georgia May Nichols, and Mary Lovett. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving daughter Victoria Teeters of Prince George, VA; his granddaughter Chayenne Teeters of Prince George, VA; his great grandson Skylar Martin of Prince George, VA; and several nieces and nephews, especially Vonda Chmura of Floral City, who was his caregiver. A celebration of Stephen’s life will be held Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at 12 Noon, at the Floral City Baptist Church. Private cremation arrangements are in the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Cremation Care, Inverness.
