Anna Deardorff

Anna Maria Deardorff, of Hernando, passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2024 in Inverness at HCA Citrus Memorial Hospital. She was 70. Anna was born in Miami to Rolando M. and Ana M. (Figueroa) Aragunde. She had many different careers throughout her life, but her most favorite was as a data entry manager. Anna loved nature, especially feeding the birds. She also loved traveling, playing on her phone, and she was always down for a spirited debate. Anna and her husband Scott were married for 33 years and 7 months, and though they never had their own human children, they had a few fur babies, which Anna adored. They moved to Citrus County full time just a couple of years ago. She was loved and will be missed greatly. Anna was preceded in death by both of her parents, as well as one of her brothers, Roland Aragunde, her sister Margaret Mounteney, and two fur babies Sabrina and Zeke. Those left to cherish her memory are her adoring husband, Scott Deardorff; her other brothers Thomas, Mario, and Roland “Rollie” Aragunde; her sisters-in-laws Therese Post and Chris Conn; her mother-in-law Barbara Deardorff; dear friend Debbie Whitaker; several nieces and nephews; and her fur baby “Pepper”. Private cremation arrangements are under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness.
