Marie C Pappas

Marie Christine Pappas, 77, of Hernando, FL passed away October 7, 2024 at HCA Citrus Hospital in Inverness, FL. She was born in Gary, IN on August 1, 1947 to the late George and Frances Alice (Pisarski) Barsuko. Marie was a Nurse, and arrived in this area in 1990, coming from Crown Point, IN. She was Catholic by faith. Marie was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, James Pappas in August, 2024, and stepsons Kim and Kerry Pappas. She is survived by her daughters Christine Pappas of Geismar, LA, and Theresa Pappas and stepson John Pappas, both of Inverness; sisters Beverly Gardner and Arlene Lewis; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Private cremation arrangements under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness.
