Joseph “David” Cole, age 81, Floral City, FL passed away October 5, 2024 at home in Floral City under the loving care of his family. Dave was born in Macon, GA to the late Jordon and Estelle (Rowell) Cole and came to this area in 1971 from Brooksville. He worked in the air conditioning business, having owned and operated Cole Aire Service for many years. He served our country in the Army National Guard and was a member of the New Testament Baptist Church in Floral City.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 59 years, Linda Diane (Peters) Cole; 2 children, David (Holli) Jason Cole of Floral City, and Daniel Eric (Coreen) Cole of Lecanto; brother, Jordon H. Cole, Jr of Casselbury, FL; 2 sisters, Jeana Sando of Umitilla, FL and Myra Eckland of Deltona, FL; 3 grandchildren: Cameron, Gavin, and Amelia and one great grandson, Oliver.
A Celebration of Life Service is scheduled for Friday, October 11, 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with The Rev. Ledford Hodges, pastor of New Testament Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Hills of Rest Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 PM until the hour of service.
