Geraldine R Cochrane

Geraldine R. Cochrane, 88, of Hernando, FL passed away October 4, 2024 at Vitas Hospice in Lecanto, FL. She was born in Akron, OH on August 31, 1936 to the late Albert James and Nina Marie (Campbell) Arnold. Geraldine was an Executive Secretary in the construction industry, and arrived in this area in 2000, coming from Delray Beach, FL. She was Christian by faith, and attended the Church of the Nazarene in Citrus. Geraldine was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Herbert Cochrane, one sister Genevieve Arnold Warner, and two brothers, Ardean Arnold and Paul Arnold. She is survived by her sons Randall Lee Cochrane of Jacksonville, FL and James B. (Denise) Cochrane of Loxahatchee, FL; and 4 grandchildren, Austin, Brandon, Thomas, and Ryan. A Celebration of Life for Geraldine is scheduled for Saturday, October 19, 11:00am at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL. The family will be receiving friends in visitation one hour prior to the service. Geraldine’s urn will be laid to rest with her husband at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL at a later date.
