Paul Angarano, Jr., age 76, Hudson, FL passed away on August 28, 2024 in the James Haley Veterans Hospital, Tampa, FL.
Paul was born in Port Chester, NY on June 4, 1948 to the late Paul and Phyllis (Berlanti) Angarano. He moved to his home in Hudson, FL in 1987 from St. Petersburg, FL (Pinellas Co.) He was a retired Master Electrician, working on several different kinds of equipment requiring his professional skills during his career and proudly served our country in the U.S. Army. His favorite job was his years as a Hernando County Electrical Inspector.
Paul was a Sci Fi enthusiast and loved anything Star Wars and Star Trek. He had an interest in astronomy and the stars. He enjoyed watching football, especially the Super Bowl and most recently had taken an interest in women’s basketball, his favorite player was Caitlin Clark.
Paul was the best father anyone could ask for. He loved spending time with his family, it didn’t matter if that involved going somewhere special or just hanging out. He was always willing to help whether by offering advice or physically lending a hand. He will be greatly missed.
He will always be remembered with affection and love by his four children:
Anthony Angarano of Hudson, FL; Joseph Angarano of Hernando, FL; Kristina Wilson of San Diego, CA; Amiee Marshall and her husband James of Hernando, FL; his grandchildren, Totiyanna Angarano and Parker Kerwin; his brother, Tom Angarano and sister-in law Kathy Angarano of St. Petersburg, FL; nephew Tom Angarano II and his wife Amelia, and their children Tom III and Allie; his neices: Lisa Angarano and her daughter Kalyna Chmielinski; Gia Angarano; Rhonda Angarano and her son, Jonathan Elser; and other extended family and friends.
Graveside services are scheduled at Florida National Cemetery on Wednesday, September 4th at 1:30 PM with V.F.W. Post 4337 rendering Honors. Paul’s family and invited friends will meet at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday at 10:30 AM. The procession will depart for the cemetery at 12:30 PM.
