Albert Wisnewski

Albert Wisnewski, Sr. passed away at Rosecastle of Citrus in Lecanto on Thursday June 6, 2024. He was 85. Albert was born in Queens, NY to Francis and Margaret (Ofulcher) Wisnewski. He served in the US Army as a parachutist, and later he owned and operated a wholesale battery outlet. Albert and his late wife moved here to this area more than 45 years ago, and enjoyed RV traveling, and truly enjoyed his family especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was an extremely laid back kind of guy. Albert was preceded in death by his loving wife Joanne Wisnewski, his twin sister Alberta, his brother Francis, and two grandsons, Albert Dalton Wisnewski and Justin David Chappell. Those left to cherish his memory are his sons Albert Wisnewski, Jr. (Christine) of Crystal River and Michael Wisnewski of Bushnell; daughters Diane Chappell (Marty) of Inverness and Debra Barker (Bill) of Inverness; his sisters Margo, who lives in Georgia and Ginger, who lives in NJ; eleven grandchildren; two great grandchildren Austin Chappell and Brayden Chappell; and lots of nieces and nephews. Private arrangements are under the care of the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness.
