Bonnie Armeros

Bonnie Jean Armeros, of Citrus Springs, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2024 in Inverness at HCA Citrus Hospital. She was 81. Bonnie was born in Flint, MI to Fred and Mary (Schafer) Schneider. She was an owner and operator of Armer Protection for 25 years. Bonnie met and married Steve Armeros when their children were young, and have been married 41 years. They moved down to Lighthouse Point, Pompano Beach from Hemlock, MI in 1984, then moved and made a final home together in Citrus County fifteen years ago. Bonnie was a member of Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church in Lecanto. Some of her hobbies were diving in the Bahamas and boating. She was an artist, specializing in charcoal drawings of faces. Bonnie will be missed as much as she was loved. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband Steve Armeros of Citrus Springs; her sons Chad Shields and Wade Shields, John Armeros and George Armeros; her daughter Mary Ann Louchert; her brother Ron Schneider (Denise); and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Services for Bonnie will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at 11:00am at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
