Joyce D Penrod

Joyce D. Penrod, 78, of Bushnell, FL passed away Thursday, May 16, 2024 at TGH Brooksville Hospital. She was born in Philadelphia, PA on December 11, 1945 to the late William F. and Goldie Ann (Hopkins) Lesser. Joyce was a C.N.A., and arrived in this area in 1974, coming from Toledo, OH. She was Christian by faith, and loved cooking. She also enjoyed gambling, playing bingo, and watching reality TV. Joyce was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lawrence Penrod in 2021, her Grandson Dontrae “Buddy” McRae, and 4 siblings, Fred Lesser, Carol Groff, Gail Lesser, and Frances Mary Parker. Survivors include her daughters Debbie (Joe) Spinoso of Bushnell, FL, Lisa (Rod) San Agustin of Land O Lakes, FL, and Michelle Berry of Bushnell, FL; sister Marilyn Sweeney; 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Private cremation arrangements under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
