Mark Murzyn

Mark Peter Murzyn, of Plymouth MA, passed away peacefully under Hospice care in Lecanto on Thursday, May 2, 2024. He was 71. Mark was born in Bridgeport CT to Theodore and Louise (Johnson) Murzyn. He graduated with a Bachelors degree from University of Connecticut in 1977, and worked for Walgreens for many years as a Registered Pharmacist and District Manager. Once he retired, Mark and his wife Mary Lou bought a winter home here in Inverness, Florida. They have been coming down here to spend their winters for the last seven years, and they attend Our Lady of Fatima while living here. Mark loved gardening, fishing, clamming, boating, playing cards, snowmobiling and ATVing, as well as get togethers with his Delaware Dawg (UConn) buddies, flipping houses on Cape Cod and Maine, and most of all, spending time with his family. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 49 years Mary Lou (Yarros) Murzyn; his sons Matt Murzyn (Danielle) and Mike Murzyn (Tammy); brothers Joseph and Stephen Murzyn; and grandchildren Rileigh Andre and Jacob Murzyn. His family will hold a celebration of life at a later date back home in Plymouth MA.
