Carol A. Yule, 72, of Lecanto, FL passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at The Reserve at Citrus in Lecanto. Carol graduated from the New York Utica State Hospital as a Registered Nurse in 1972 and was employed as a RN for over 50 years, more than 40 years of which were at Seven Rivers Community Hospital, starting with its opening in 1979 until her retirement. Survivors include her husband, John Yule; sons, John Curtis Yule of Jordanville, NY; Adam Yule of Tucson, AZ; and her grandchildren: Nathan, Ava and Abraham. Carol was highly skilled in all areas of nursing and had many roles over the years as well serving as a mentor to many of her colleagues. Her compassion for others and professional dedication was admired by all. She always led by example and there were no tasks too big or too small – all were seen by Carol to be vitally important to patients and their families. Carol (Methodist by Faith) will be laid to rest in Scio, NY along side her adopted mother and father, whom she dearly loved and was so thankful for. Although Carol is no longer with us, her legacy will live on through her many deeds of kindness and love for her children, grandchildren and friends. May she “Rest in Peace”, knowing she was loved and that she made a difference in so many lives. Private cremation arrangements are under the care of Chas. E.
