Barbara Mosio

Barbara Mosio, 95, of Citrus Springs, FL passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at her residence in Citrus Springs. She was born in Hartford, CT on December 7, 1928 to the late William and Marie (Moffatt) McCurry. Barbara was an insurance policy writer and arrived in this area in 1999, coming from Connecticut. She was protestant by faith, and was an avid golfer, shooting 11 holes in one, and loved traveling. Barbara was preceded in death by her loving husband Walter Mosio after 13 years of marriage, and special cousin Muriel Bendzinski. She is survived by her daughter Debra (Jeffrey) McQuarrie of Colchester, CT; stepdaughters, Pamela Mosio of Ludlow, MA and Deborah (Rob) Pafumi of Munson, MA; 2 special nieces, Maureen Wilcox and Alyson Bendzinski; special nephew Mike Bendzinski, along with many close friends who were always there for her . Private cremation arrangements are under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
