Willem “Will” Verhoef, age 74, Inverness. FL passed away March 23, 2024 in the HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital.
Mr. Verhoef was born in Zaandam, Netherlands on October 23, 1949 to the late Willem and Gerdiena Laurina Verhoef. He was a seasonal resident of Inverness, FL. Back in his homeland, he was an owner and operator of an aluminum anodizing factory and an entrepreneur of other businesses as well. He and his family attended the Seven Rivers Presbyterian Church in Lecanto.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Slootweg “Nell” Verhoef; 2 children: Petra Leene and her husband Marco of Crystal River, FL and Joel Verhoef and his wife Rosalie of Bonaire, Lesser Antillees; 4 grandchildren.
Graveside services are scheduled for Wednesday, April 3rd at 2:00 PM at the Oak Ridge Cemetery of Inverness with Pastor Ray Cortese officiating. There will be a Celebration of Life scheduled by the family at a later date. The Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
