Louis Calabrese, Jr., age 83 of Floral City, FL passed away March 18, 2024 in Citrus Memorial Hospital.
Lou was born in Lorain, OH on July 11, 1940 to the late Louis and Lucy (Sorino) Calabrese, Sr and came to this area from Clearwater in 1993. He was a retired commercial truck driver and served our country in the U.S. Army. He had a zest for life and a very positive outlook wherever he went. He never met a stranger. He loved gardening, and loved to ride motorcycles. Lou was an accomplished musician, upholsterer, and a very hard worker. But most of all, he loved his family and enjoyed all gatherings with them. He always had great words of advice and encouragement. His family and friends will miss him dearly.

Left to cherish his memory is 1 daughter, Lisa Marie Antonetti and her husband, Peter of Floral City; 1 sister, Loretta Ricco of Elyria, OH; 4 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Also 2 nieces as well. He was predeceased by his son, Todd Calabrese on March 10, 2022 and his grandson, Stanley M. Haybron,III on December 27, 2021.

At Louis’ request, there are no services. His urn will be laid to rest in the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. Cremation arrangements are being arranged with the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home With Crematory, Inverness, FL.
