James Miller

James G. “Jimmy” Miller, of Hernando, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2024. He was 68. Jim was born in Galion, OH. He worked as a lineman for Verizon in New Jersey. Jim moved to Hernando, Florida in 2018, where he became an integral part of the local performance community. Most recently Jim was a guitarist for The Fabulous Firebirds Band. He also played with Single Shot and Jimmy’s Dance Band. Jim was known to be a passionate photographer. On cooler days he could be seen riding his bicycle around Hernando and Inverness, enjoying being out in nature. Jim was a cherished uncle to his nieces and nephews, being a kid at heart himself. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Mary Miller. Those left to cherish Jim’s memory are his sister Janet Miller Eidem (Will) and his brother Robert E. Miller (Joyce). Private cremation arrangements are under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Cremation Care. Memorial and burial will take place at a later date in Naples, FL.
