Joanne Holm, of Floral City, passed away in Brooksville Florida on Tuesday, February 20, 2024. She was 86. Joanne was born in Rochester, NY to Carl and Concetta Damico Devola. She moved with her family to Miami, Florida early in her life. She had four children, all born in Miami. Joanne moved to the Tampa area and eventually settled in Floral City. Joanne was a wonderful homemaker, a loving wife and a devoted mother. Joanne spent time working as an office administrator and a sales representative during her working career, but her passion was serving others, volunteering, and giving her time to the community.
Joanne loved to travel but her delight was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Floral City. Joanne was preceded in death by her husband Jon Holm, her brother Russell Frank Privitera and stepson Jon Holm. Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Robert Edmunds (Nancy), Alan Edmunds, Lanette Mendez (Michael), and Kevin Edmunds (Renee); her grandchildren, Katie & Ashley Edmunds, Ian Edmunds, Gianna Barto (Dusty), Imogen & Braden Edmunds; her great-grandchildren, Soren Edmunds and Greyson Barto. Also left to cherish her memory are her stepchildren, Olaf “Mick” Holm (Amy), Cindy Robinson (Mark), and Robert Holm (Michael); step grandchildren Bryan Holm, Sarah Jo Holm, Mickey Holm (Nicole), and Timothy Robinson; step great-grandchildren Benjamin Swaggerty, Kaden, Ollie, Avory & Walter Holm.
Graveside service for Joanne will be held at Florida National Cemetery, in Bushnell Florida, on Friday, March 8, 2024, at 10:30AM. Private cremation arrangements are under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home 3075 S. Florida AVE Inverness, FL 34450.
