Roy David Carroll

Roy David Carroll, of Lake Panasoffkee passed away at his home on Monday January 29th, 2024. He was 77. Roy was born in Stockbridge, GA and spent most of his life in St. Petersburg, FL. He served in the US Marine Corps Infantry during the Vietnam War. Roy spent his career as a project manager in the construction industry, working on large scale projects until his retirement in 2005. He was passionate about fishing, horses, his collection of Harley’s and most of all about his family. Roy was preceded in death by his younger brother Stephen Carroll. Those left to cherish his memory are his beloved daughter Jan Patterson along with her husband Taylor and their boys, of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl as well as his big sister Ann Sitterson of Citrus Springs and her children. Roy’s family will hold a private service with military honors at Florida National Cemetery at a later date.
