Melissa R Giannino

Melissa R. Giannino, of Inverness, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024. She was 39 years old. Melissa was born in Warwick, Rhode Island to John and Sandra (Otis) VanLeeuwen. They moved down to this area in 1989 when Melissa was five years old. She was a pharmacy technician and graduate of Dunnellon High School. Melissa was preceded in death by her mother Sandra Verbiski.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Mark Giannino of Inverness; her daughter Kitara Morrison of Homosassa; her brother John VanLeeuwen of McAlpin, FL; her sister Crystal VanLeeuwen Johnson of Inverness; and her nephew John VanLeeuwen, III
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at 2:00pm. Family and friends will officiate. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory.
