Robert M Scott

Robert M. Scott, of Inverness, FL, died at his home on Friday, December 8, 2023. He was 85. Born in Athens, West Virginia, he grew up in Athens. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Art from Blue Field State College. Robert served three years in the United States Army, and was honorably discharged just before the Vietnam War broke out. He was an airplane mechanic in the Army and served in Germany. Robert was the director in the art department with Blue Field Television. He and Sandra have been in Inverness for about 25 years, having moved down from Princeton, WV. He was very active in the American Legion, Post 058 as Past Post Commander.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 25 years Sandra Scott of Inverness and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, Dec. 21, 11:00 am at Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
