Ronald Eugene Pekins, age 71, Floral City, FL passed away October 13, 2023 in Citrus Memorial Hospital.
Ron was born in Arlington, MA on April 6, 1952 to the late Everett and Nancy (Lynch) Pekins. Ron Graduated in1970 from Carlisle High School in Concord, Ma. After high school Ron enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served in the Navy for 6 years. Ron and his family moved to Inverness in 1989 from Boxborough, MA. He was the former owner and operator of Collision Tech Automotive Body Shop in Inverness. Ron was an avid fisherman and enjoyed his time on the boat and working on his fishing gear. Ron was able to fix absolutely anything that needed fixing.
Left to cherish his memory are 2 children: Ronald E. Pekins, Jr of Chesapeake, VA and Candace Banks and her husband Jason Banks of Vero Beach, FL: 1 sister, Dee Baietti of Yarmouth, ME; 2 grandchildren, Hudson Grace Banks and Phoenix Grayson Pekins.
There will be a Celebration of Life held on 11/19 at 12pm at the Cove. Please Contact Candace at [email protected] if you plan on attending. Cremation arrangements were with Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home With Crematory.
