Jay B Rockafellow

Inverness, Florida – Jay “Rocky” Rockafellow, age 73, peacefully passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at his residence. Born on June 12, 1950 in Poughkeepsie, New York to the late Edward and Reita (Ostrander) Rockafellow, Rocky lived in Sussex County most of his life before moving to Inverness, Florida in 2021. He was a Local 15 union carpenter for 35 years. Rocky was a past Exalted Ruler of the Sussex Elks Lodge and enjoyed golfing, motorcycles, and his corvette. He was married to his high school sweetheart, Donna Holleran Rockafellow for 53 years. Besides his wife, Rocky is survived by his daughter, Stacey Pochis and her husband John; his son, Jay B. Rockafellow; his granddaughters, Jaylin, Jacklyn, and Payton; his sisters, Donna Rockafellow Saletto and Bonnie Scott and her husband Wayne; his brother, Gene Rockafellow and his wife Karen; his brother-in-law, Jay Holleran and his wife Nancy; his sister-in-law, Connie Holleran Domicolo and her husband Brian; and adored by many other family members.
