Joseph E Campbell

Joseph E. Campbell, 95, of Beverly Hills, FL passed away August 25, 2023 at Bravera Health in Brooksville, FL. He was born in Detroit, MI on September 4, 1927 to the late James J. and Helen (Sechler) Campbell. Joseph was a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service and served our country in the U.S. Navy and was a WWII veteran. He arrived in this area in 1985 coming from Detroit. He attended St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church in Inverness and enjoyed woodworking, bowling, playing cards, and spending time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Eleanor Campbell in 2016, and one son, Paul W. Campbell. He is survived by his children Gary J (Calah) Campbell of Jacksonville, FL, and Susan (Charles) Porto of St. Augustine, FL; 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. A Requiem Eucharist will be celebrated at St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church on Monday, October 9, 1:00 P.M. with honor guard services to follow. Joseph’s urn will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL at a later date. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory in charge of arrangements.
