Fred D Weedman

Fred Davis Weedman, 91, of Inverness, FL passed away August 23, 2023 at HPH Hospice in Lecanto, FL. He was born in Bradenton, FL on September 29, 1931 to the late Dale Fred and Minnie (Johnson) Weedman. Fred was a engineer for GTE telephone company, and a U.S Nave veteran of the Korean War. He arrived in this area in 2000, coming from Sarasota, FL and was Christian by faith. Fred was a football referee for 28 years, and golfing and flying airplanes. He was preceded in death by one brother, Michael D. Weedman. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Nancy Weedman. Other survivors include his children Mark (Susan) Weedman and Dale Turner, both of Sarasota, FL.; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Private cremation arrangements under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness.
