Barbara M Mokszycki

Barbara Marie Mokszycki, 92, of Lecanto, FL passed away August 26, 2023 at Diamond Ridge in Lecanto. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 21, 1931 to the late Bernard and Eleanor (Dinneen) Albrecht. Barbara was a homemaker and Catholic by faith. She arrived in this area in 1991, coming from Athens, NY. She attended St. Scholastica Catholic Church and enjoyed traveling. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband Michael in 2021, her daughter Nancy Mokszycki, and her sister Bernadette Bartola. Survivors include her children Steven Mokszycki (Suzanne Zindell) of Lecanto, FL, Joseph (Donna) Mokszycki of S. Salem, NY, William (Debbie) Mokszycki of Redmond, WA, David (Mary Jane) Mokszycki of Slingerlands, NY, and Diane (Kevin) White of Layton UT; brother, Bernard Albrecht; 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 15, at 11:00 am at St. Scholastica Catholic Church in Lecanto. The family will be receiving friends at the church one hour prior to service. . Additional services will be held for Barbara in New York and are being planned by her family. She will be laid to rest at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery in Catskill, NY at a later date. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
