Richard Collier, age 73, Hernando, FL passed away August 14, 2023 in Citrus Memorial Hospital. Richard was born in Warfield, KY on April 13, 1950 to the late Truman Collier, Sr. and Helen (Stone) Collier and moved to Florida 2 years ago from Columbus, OH. He retired from the Columbus Distributing Company as a Production Manager with 21 years of service. He was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church and served our country in the U.S. Army.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 22 years, Deborah (Crook) Collier, Hernando, FL; 3 sons ; Mark Skeens and Timothy Collier, both of Columbus, OH; Adam Richmond of Bedford, VA; 4 daughters: Kim Bolen and husband, Pete of Grove City, OH; Toni Seymour of Columbus, OH; Angie Cummings and husband, Dave of Pataskala, OH; Stephanie Porter and husband, Chad of West Virginia; 1 brother, Roy Collier of Columbus, OH; 10 grandchildren: Allie, Abagail, Mason, Hunter, Rylee, Reagan, Pete, Michael, Emily, and Hope; 1 great grandchild, Kayson; 3 beloved Siamese cats: Bristol, Claire, and Blaze.
A Celebration of Life Service is scheduled for Friday, August 25, 2023 at 11:00 AM from the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home of Inverness with Pastor Darrell Reneau officiating. Military Honors will follow. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 AM until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are being accepted by the Agape House, 808 No. Citrus Ave., Crystal River, FL 34428.
