Carl L Mutter

Beloved Husband, Father, Pop Pop, and Pop Pop Pop, Carl L. Mutter passed away on Saturday August 12, 2023 in Inverness, FL.

Originally from Boyertown, PA, Carl and his wife Barbara spent time traveling many places, but fell in love with the warm Florida climate, spending time there as snowbirds for many years, before permanently moving to Inverness in 2008. Carl became an avid cyclist and he also continued to enjoy his hobbies of golf, visiting FL beaches and spending time with his family and friends. He was a humble and gentle soul, best known for his sense of humor and laughter.

Carl was preceded in death by parents, Linford Mutter and Elsie Eltz, a son, Mark Mutter, a brother, Merlyn Mutter and a grandson, Tyler Moyer. He is survived by his lifelong sweetheart and companion, Barbara A (Walbert) Mutter. Carl and Barbara would have been married 65 years on October 4th 2023.

Other survivors include daughters, Jodie (Mutter) Moyer, wife of Terry, Boyertown, PA, Marcia (Mutter) Nygren, Blandon, PA. sons, Linford Mutter, husband of Robin (Skrincosky) Orwigsburg, PA, John Mutter, husband of Aimee (Sobresky) , Bechtelsville, PA, daughter in law, Chris Leister, Boyertown, PA, and sister, SaraAnn (Mutter) Schlessman, wife of James, Boyertown, PA.

There are also five grandchildren, Jason Moyer, husband of Bevin (Hiroko}, Reading, PA, Donald Nygren, fiance of Giselle Martinez, Pottstown PA, Lauren (Mutter) Majchrowski, wife of Adam, Exeter, PA, Jessica (Nygren) Parent, wife of Zachary, Mt. Wolf, PA, and Carly Mutter of Royersford, PA; seven great-grandchildren: Jax Parent, Geylianie Martinez, Jolie Parent, Jameson Moyer, Aiden Martinez-Nygren, Cora Majchrowski and Jasmine Martinez-Nygren.

No services will be held per request, but the family asks that you remember Carl fondly as he was in life. Private cremation arrangements under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness.
