Alfred Lee Shaver, age 83, Inverness, FL, went to heaven on July 31, 2023 after a brief illness and 4 + years battling Parkinson disease.
Al was born in Treadwell, NY on December 16, 1939, to the late Charles and Thelma (Pelham) Shaver. He was a devout Christian and attended Redemption Christian Church in Inverness. He was a retired truck driver in the commercial trucking industry.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of nearly 64 years, Sandra (Jordan) Shaver; 4 children all in NY: Terry Pochkar, Sherry Atwell, Lori Michaels, Al Shaver Jr; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
There will be a Celebration of Life in New York at a later date. Al will be buried in the Ouleout Valley Cemetery in Franklin, NY. Arrangements are under the direction of the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness.
