Shirley Mae Davis

Shirley Mae Davis, 89, of Hernando, FL passed away July 5, 2023 at Citrus Health & Rehab in Inverness, FL. She was born on August 15, 1933 in Harrisburg, PA to the late John Wallace and Eleanor (Gambol) Steigelman. Shirley was a homemaker, and arrived in this area in 1990, coming from Pembroke Pines, FL. She was Baptist by faith, and enjoyed making jewelry, floral arranging, and reading. She was preceded in death by one son, Glenn Alan Davis. Mourning her loss are her children John Wallace (Carolyn) Davis, and Marvin Roy (Sherri) Davis, all of Davie, FL, Herbert Wesley Davis of Leesburg, FL, and Debra Davis of Oakland Park, FL; half brother Dewey Ervin and half sister Edna Teeple; 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
