Price H McCullough

Price Harrison McCullough of Floral City, FL, passed away at his home on May 14, 2023. His daughter Brenda and son Dale was at his bedside. Price was born in Murfreesboro, TN on January 19, 1932. At seventeen he married the love of his life, Joyce Irene Easter, she was fifteen. Together their marriage lasted 62 years until she passed away. Price worked for the State of Florida for 30 years as a heavy machine mechanic then retired. He lived on the Suwannee River and later moved to Floral City where he spent his last 29 years. Price enjoyed long walks with his best friend Sissy, a black lab. He spent 15 years with her at his side. Price loved bluegrass gospel music and praising his Lord, and reading his Bible every morning. Price was a Tampa Bay baseball fan. He watched all the games and loved to see TB win, and the Yankees loose! Price always said that the family circle would be together forever in Heaven. Price was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce on February 25, 2011, and his youngest son, Dwayne on June 28, 2020. In addition to his son, Dale, and daughter Brenda, he has six grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren, all of who will mourn his passing. A funeral service is scheduled at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home in Inverness, on Friday, May 19, 2023 at 11:00 AM. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service. Burial will follow at the Hills of Rest Cemetery in Floral City.
