Patricia Ann Janowski, age 79, Inverness, FL peacefully passed away January 24, 2023 at home under the loving care of her family and Vitas Hospice.
Pat was born in Providence, RI on April 9, 1943 to the late Thomas Kelly and Mary Dornan Kelly. In 1998, she moved with her husband from Lincoln, Rhode Island to Inverness. Pat was a retired school teacher, having taught children in both the 2nd and 6th grades for 25 years. She always wished to make a difference and that she certainly did!
In her retirement years, Pat was a talented watercolor artist and incredible creator of greeting cards. She could always be found working diligently in her beloved art room. She was a dedicated member of various card clubs, both within Citrus County and beyond. She selflessly volunteered for Hospice for many years both in RI and in Florida.
Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband of 50 years, William H. Janowski of Inverness, FL; 2 loving children: Timothy Janowski and his wife Jennifer of Upland, CA and Charisa Bianco and her husband Joseph of Scituate, RI; her brother, James Kelly of Wilmington, NC; her sister, Eileen Lennon of East Providence, RI; 5 adoring granddaughters: Ariana, Alexandra, Alexia, Olivia, and Rachel.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Monday, January 30, 2023 at 11:00 A.M from the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home where her family and friends will share their memories of Pat. Cremation arrangements will follow. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 AM until the service begins at 11:00 AM.
