After completion, she worked in the pathology department at Peter Bent Brigham Hospital for several years.
She met her devoted husband in 1957, and they lovingly married in 1958. Together they raised 6 children, and later she became the office manager at Advance Electric, the company her husband founded.
In addition to the love of her life, William, she is survived by her 5 children, Lynne Farrell, James Oram and wife Michele, Lisa Azoulay, Kelly Powers, and Bill Oram and wife Amy, 18 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren with 3 more due this year. She is also survived by her brother Louis (Joey) Colucci of VA. She was predeceased by her son, Michael Oram and sister, Virginia Stevens.
The simple pleasures of life are what Barbara cherished the most. She loved the sunshine, time spent with loved ones, and breakfast at Jimmy T.’s Deli with the friends who became extended family. She was blessed to travel the world with her husband, and they enjoyed many cruises together. Everyone who met Barbara loved her gentle soul, charitable heart, and joyful laughter.
