Imagene Tenniswood, 76, of Inverness, FL passed away peacefully on December 25, 2022 at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness, surrounded by her family. She was born in Adrian, MI on June 18, 1946 to the late William B. and Nellie Mae (Walker) Ricker. Imagene was a care giver for preschool child care and arrived in this area in 2015, coming from Adrian, MI. She attended Assembly of God Church in Adrian, and enjoyed visiting Disneyland, traveling, and loved her puppies. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Leon Tenniswood. Other survivors include her children Mark Tenniswood of Tipton, MI, Brian Tenniswood of Adrian, MI, Howard (Nikki) Tenniswood of Toledo, OH, Shellie Whitaker (Ron) of Seneca, MI, and Patricia (Troy) Raymond of Adrian, MI; brothers Vernon and Billie Ricker; and sister Freda Farmer; 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister, Christine Matthes. Imagene’s urn will be laid to rest by her family at a later date. Private cremation arrangements under the care of Chas. E.
