Louise Carrnel Gillespie, age 81, Beverly Hills, FL passed away at home on December 10, 2022 under the loving care of her daughter, DeAnna L. Conger and HPH Hospice.
Mrs Gillespie was born in Portsmouth, VA on April 13, 1941 to the late Sidney Hamilton and Mildred Owens Hamilton. She was an executive in the Customer Service Division of Virginia Power with 28 years of service and a member of the First Christian Church of Inverness.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, DeAnna (Dade) Conger, Crystal River, FL; brother Sidney C. Hamilton, III of Lexington, NC; sister, Shirley; her best friend, Claudine Conger; 3 grandchildren: David Faries, Jr, Kayla May Waye, and Matthew Gillespie; 11 great-grandchildren: Ronnie, Jordan, Tori, Kayden, Faith, Jonathan, Hunter, Liam, Ader, Amyia, and Camron. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward (4/17/2010) and her son, Edward Jr. (6/27/2022)
There is a Celebration of Life Scheduled for Saturday, January 21, 2022 at 2:00 PM from the First Christian Church of Inverness with The Rev. Tom Thompson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to: HPH Hospice or the First Christian Church. Cremation arrangements with care. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home With Crematory.
