Robert A. Bourque, 80 years. Passed away peacefully October 10, 2022 under the care of his family and Vitas Hospice in Lecanto. He was born in Chicago, IL, October 27, 1941 to the late Albert Bourque and Gertrude Buczkowski.
Robert has been of resident of Citrus County since 1998, previously residing in Illinois. He retired as a supervisor in public works overseeing the water treatment plant. He also was a volunteer fireman with the Lisle Fire Department attaining the rank of Lieutenant. His wife Judith, who passed away November 25, 2017, was his life. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He enjoyed, hunting, sky diving, NASCAR, and scuba diving. In all that he did, safety was paramount, the safety of his family, coworkers and friends.
He was predeceased by his father, Albert Bourque, his mother, Gertrude Tourville, his step father Clyde Tourville and his beloved wife, Judith L. Bourque.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughter; Wendi L. Kirchoff,
2 grandchildren; Brittany and Noah, 2 great grandchildren and his sisters; Dorothy Bobus, Judy Taylor, Gail Ebeling, Deborah Kennedy, and SuzetteVoyda, also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews
Cremation with care, under the direction of Chas E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness, FL.
