Margaret English age 77 went home to be with the Lord on August 19th, 2022, passing peacefully with her family by her side.
Margaret, or more affectionately referred to as Maggie, was born to the late Willis Clarence and Mildred Louise Carver on May 5th, 1945, in Brooksville, FL.
She was known for her expertise in the kitchen and her flair for southern cuisine, serving numerous Floridians throughout the years in her restaurants in both Naples and Inverness. She was quick witted and sharp, always ready to share in a good joke or humorous story. Margaret had a keenness for history and loved to watch a good historical drama on TV or Film. She cherished her southern roots but also had an adoration for all things British, including her late husband, Dave English. Margaret and Dave loved to travel and spent many years traveling North America by train and sharing memories of their travels with their loved ones.
Margaret is survived by her daughters, Beverly Theriac, Ramona Alvarez, and Donna Carper, along with 6 grandchildren and 7 great-children, as well as two sisters Joyce “Gail” Brooks and Linda Simpson. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her eldest son Michael Lewis,2 brothers Willis Carver and and Robert Carver as well as her sister Barbara Eloise Carver-Rouse.
