Michael Choma

Michael Choma, 92, of Inverness, FL passed away Sunday, June 26, 2022 at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness. He was born on June 10, 1930 to the late George and Elizabeth (Vahen) Choma. Michael was an electrician and arrived in this area in 1991, coming from Edison, NJ. He was Catholic by faith and enjoyed word puzzles and reading. He served our country honorably in the U.S. Navy, and was a member of VFW Post #4337, Inverness. Michael was preceded in death by his brothers, George, Joseph and John Choma, sisters Helen Balle and Anna Martoken. He is survived by hos loving wife of 49 years, Brenda Choma; son Michael J. Choma and his wife Connie of Woodbridge, NJ and daughter Lisa Sorenson of Trenton, NJ; 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Services for Michael with military honors are scheduled for Wednesday, July 13, 2022, 11:00 am at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL with military honors provided by VFW Post #4337 honor guard, Inverness. A procession to the cemetery will depart the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness at 10:15am precisely.
