Richelle “Riki”A. Ellinger, 68 years, passed away May 16, 2022 at home. Born October 8, 1953, in Brooklyn, NY, to the late Charles J. Ferro and Anna R. Elbert. She was married to Charles R. Ellinger, who passed away in 2017.
Riki, was a bookkeeper in healthcare on Long Island NY and Inverness, FL. She had been a resident of Long Island before moving to Inverness 45 years ago. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, loved to travel, she collected precious moments figurines, and made a nice home in Inverness. She was a loving and devoted wife, sister, and aunt.
She was predeceased by her parents Charles J. and Anna R. Ferro, her husband; Charles R. Ellinger, her sisters; Linda Ferro and Doni Rubin.
Left to cherish her memory are her brother Anthony J. Ferro (Charene), 2 nephews; Stan Shrader and Doug Shrader, dear friend; Ann Mescal (Stuart Feuerstein); and her late husband’s children; Adam, Melissa, and Melanie Ellinger.
Celebration of Life has been scheduled for Monday, June 27, 2022 at 12:30 P.M., with visitation beginning at 12 Noon, at Chas E. Davis Funeral Home 3075 S. Florida Ave Inverness, with Fr. Claudius Mganga, Celebrant, from Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Full Military Honors for her husband, Charles R. Ellinger, will be in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. Riki and Charlie will be laid to rest together immediately following.
