Janet Sharon Dant, 82, of Inverness, FL passed away May 6, 2022 at her residence in Inverness. She was born in Pontiac, MI on December 3, 1939 to the late Lester and Ella (Canady) Hendley. Janet was a loving and caring housewife and homemaker. She arrived in this area in 1997, coming from Pontiac. She loved crafting and ceramics, and enjoyed collecting clowns. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Richard Dant. Other survivors include her children Christopher Dant of Pontiac, MI, Mark Dant and his wife Carla of Lapeer, MI, and Kim Vansen and her husband Kirk of Belmont, NH; sisters Doris Carline and Marilyn Polzen; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
