Shelby D Gibson

Shelby Douglas Gibson, 96, of Homosassa, FL passed away March 30, 2022 at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness. He was born in Brantley, AL to the late Jeter and Sara (Davis) Gibson. Shelby served our country in the U.S. Army during WWII and was a aircraft maintenance supervisor. He arrived in this area in 1980, coming from Ohman, in the Middle East. He enjoyed fishing and was an excellent gardener. Shelby was predeceased by his wife of 44 years, Betty Gibson. Survivors include his sons Gary Gibson and Paul Ceilo, daughter Cindy Majors; 4 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Private cremation arrangements by Chas. E.
