David Owen Pate, 68 years, passed away, March 25, 2022, at home with his loving family by his side. He was born in Lakeland FL, July 11, 1953, to Robert Owen Pate, III and Ruth Cox. He was a resident of Fort Lauderdale for the past 30 years. He was a member of Calvary Chapel in Fort Lauderdale.
Mr. Pate was owner operator of Showtime Construction with his longtime friend and business partner, David Lashbrook.
He is survived by his daughter Wendy Marinelli (Dan), and his sisters Jennifer Williamson (Nory), Georgia Shelar (Tom), Holly Roberts, and Kaywood Pate, his grandson Mason Marinelli, and former spouse Pamela Mann
He was predeceased by his parents Robert Owen and Ruth (Cox) Pate, III, his daughter Mandy Ruth Pate, and his sister Deanna Johnston.
Family and friends are invited to his Celebration of Life, Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 4pm.
Visitation will be from 3-4pm, Chas E. Davis Funeral Home 3075 S. Florida Ave Inverness, FL 34450. Burial will take place in Magnolia Cemetery, Lecanto, FL
