Joseph A. Valverde, 95, of Beverly Hills, FL, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2022. He was born on September 21, 1926 in New York, NY.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Lucy; daughter, Vivian Splawn (Michael) of Burlington, NC; son, Charles Valverde and family of Massachusetts; grandson Morgan Splawn of Nashville, TN; sister, Mary Serughetti of Toms River, NJ, and brother, John Valverde of Chicago, IL.
Joseph was an Army veteran of WWII, the Korean War, Vietnam and also served in the Mideast, and was immensely proud of his service to his country.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date in New Jersey. Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, Burlington, NC. Cremation arrangements under the care of the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
