Catherine J. Schanne, 84 years of Hernando, FL passed away March 8, 2022 at home, with family by her side. She was born December 17, 1937, in Buffalo, NY, to the late, Gerald & Catherine E. O’Leary Byrne.
In 1959, she married Richard C. Schanne, they resided in Buffalo, NY, moving to Ravenna, OH, before moving to Citrus County 22 years ago. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed sewing and crafts, although she always put her family first.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Richard C. Schanne, daughters, Patricia A. Azam, (Mohamed), of Boardman, OH, Kathleen M. Laurich, (Frank), of Dry Ridge, KY,
Annemarie B. Pedalino, (Daniel), of Ocala, FL, 1 brother, Donald Bryne, of Buffalo, NY, 5 grandchildren, Matthew Azam, Zachary Azam, Desiree Laurich, Nicholas Pedalino, and Bridget Pedalino. Catherine was predeceased by two brothers, Robert and Gerald Bryne.
Family and friends are invited to her Memorial Mass, Friday, March 25, 2022, 2pm in Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church with Fr. Timothy Cummings, officiating, 550 US 41 Inverness, FL, 34450.
