Gerald Martin Appel, 88 years old, passed away February 15, 2022 at Vitas Healthcare,
Lecanto, FL. He was born March 10, 1933 in Chicago, IL to the late Arthur and Barbara Mueller Appel. He was a veteran of the US Army and also, a member of The Knights of Columbus. He has resided in Florida since 1985, coming from Crystal Lake, IL. Gerald was a devoted family man and enjoyed air boating.
Along with his parents he was predeceased by his sister Arlene.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Kathleen Appel, his daughters, Cheryl Jazka, Lisa Ryan, and Kathryn (Leroy) Strauss, also survived by his siblings, Arthur, Dolores,
And Janice, 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
