Dennis Kielan, 75, of Lecanto, FL passed away on October 28th, 2021 at his home. He was born to the late Chester and Bernice (Kalin) Kielan on March 29th, 1946 in Detroit, Michigan. He bravely served our country as a member of the United States Air Force and was a Vietnam Vet. In 2007 he moved to Lecanto, FL (Citrus County) when he relocated from Illinois.
Dennis enjoyed playing Golf, liked to travel and was a life time member of VFW. He was also a member of American Legion.
Along with his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Corinne who passed away on August 26th, 2015. Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Kimberly McAlpine (Robert) of Ottawa, IL, Dawn Szymanski (Paul) of Houston, TX, Alan Kielan (Angie) of Appleton, WI, and Joseph Kielan (Tabitha) of Ottawa, IL, his sister, Carol Puszcz (Dave); his two brother-in-laws, Mike Kliffel (Michelle) and Danny Davidson (Elaine); his 13 cherished grandchildren; his 13 adored great-grandchildren; his two nephews, 3 nieces and many other extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 6th, 2021, at 3 PM at Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Father Tejada officiating. A gathering of family and friends for a time of fellowship will begin at 2 PM. Military Honors will be rendered for Dennis’ dedicated military service. Cremation with Care is under the direction of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness, FL.
