Edward H. Wallace Jr., 71, of Inverness, FL passed away October 8th, 2021 at his home. He was born in Waterbury, CT on August 11, 1950 to the late Edward H. Wallace Sr. and Marcia V. Wallace. Retired Master Sergeant Wallace served in the Vietnam War, travelled the world and served his country with distinction for 20 yrs. He retired to Homosassa, FL where he opened Ed Wallace’s Woodshop. His passion was refinishing and restoring beautiful antique furniture. He serviced the local community as well as many out of state clients. He was an avid gardener and flower enthusiast with the greenest thumb. He enjoyed fishing, listening to oldies music and perfecting his stamp collection. Along with his parents, Edward was preceded in death by his sister Judith Heins. Edward is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Wallace of Clarksville, TN, his son Edward H. Wallace III of Homosassa, FL, his wife Melissa Tallent of Inverness, FL, her daughter, Payton Tallent of Inverness FL, and his ex-wife the mother of his children, Marsha Wallace of Homosassa, FL. Services for Edward, with Military Honors, will be conducted on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at 1:30PM, at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. Arrangements are under the direction of the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
