Florence M Staufenberg

Florence May Staufenberg, 94, of Inverness, FL passed away on August 10th, 2021 under the care of VITAS hospice in Lecanto, FL. She was born to the late Joseph and Florence Drakeford on September 19th, 1926 in Jersey City, NJ. She was a Law Enforcement Clerk for Suffolk County, NY and in 1989, made Citrus County her home when she moved from Sugarloaf Key, FL. Florence was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Karl. Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Karl Staufenberg, Jr. (Donna), her three grandchildren, Erica DelGrosso (David), Mark Staufenberg (Annette Storckman), and Craig Staufenberg and her great grandchildren: Emma and Abby DelGrosso.
A Celebration of Life at Florida National Cemetery of Bushnell, FL will be held at a later date. Cremation with Care is under the direction of the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness, FL.
