James A Mack

James A. Mack, 82, of Inverness, FL passed away under the care of Vitas Hospice in Lecanto, FL on August 4th, 2021. He was born to the late Richard H. and Dorothy Heitzhaus Mack on December 10th, 1938 in Rochester, NY. He married his beloved wife Janet and together, they made Citrus County their home in 2006 after moving from Strafford, NH. James had many careers throughout his life, including being Manager at a Vending Machine Food company. He enjoyed model trains, and they were his passion. He was preceded in death by his three daughters, Kim Steele, Teresa Walker, and Amy Lynn King. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 63 years, Janet Mack; his two sons, James Jr. of Davenport, FL and Daniel of Londonderry, NH; his 14 cherished grandchildren; and his 23 adored great-grandchildren.
Arrangements for James are private at this time. Cremation with Care is under the direction of the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness, FL. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to The Alzheimer’s and Dementia Foundation (adfdn.org).
