William H Pitts

William H. Pitts, “Bill”, 83, of Citrus Springs, FL passed away on July 23rd, 2021 under the care of Citrus Memorial Hospital of Inverness, FL. He was born to the late Charles and Anna (Taunitis) Pitts on June 11th, 1938 in Girardville, PA. He honorably served our country as a United States Army Officer and bravely served in Vietnam where he received a Purple Heart. He worked as a Financial Systems Analyst for many years and was able to travel with his wife, Regina, for many years due to his line of work.
He was a people-person who loved to socialize and talk with friends, family, and even strangers on the street. He loved making new friends and memories. He also loved fishing, golfing, and antique cars. He was an avid gun enthusiast and loved to collect antique paper bills and coins. He was a member of the Inglis Masonic Lodge #324.
Bill was preceded in death by his siblings, Charles, Edward, and Helen. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 36 years, Regina; his children, William, Vaughan, Nancy, and Kathleen; his step-son, Steven Rome; his siblings, Robert and Mary Jean; his six cherished grandchildren; and his one adored great-grandchild.
Arrangements for Bill are private. Cremation with Care is under the direction of the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness, FL.
